A lot of the chapters back East prefer the baby blue color to set them apart from the black vest's of the 1% ers. Our black vest was grandfathered in along with our patch as far as I know and I had read or heard that the new chapters were to use the blue vests and standard international rockers. Maybe you heard something different Geoff. I personally like the black vest's also.

Don't forget the Orchard House ride this Sat. Meet at the usual spot at 11am.

I do like the video. I think the intro is too long. At the West Coast Conf a few years ago, the discussion was "How do we get younger members?" I think they need to show younger members in the video. Also, show the new approved dark vest! That butt ugly baby blue vest is a turn off to younger members...

That video is great. Looking forward to showing some of my co-workers the video.

International did a nice job on the recruitment video. Very professional. If you haven't watched it, you should.

Rick, I don't know where that guy was going but this guy was traveling around the world for 2 years and his bike isn't nearly as loaded as that one. This was in Gualla, CA. Guy and I ran in to him on our trip last summer. He lives/started in Switzerland.

Here is a loaded bike I saw in Durango,CO, in 2010. Ya think they coulda put any more on it? I wonder how that handled on 9000 ft. high mountain roads.

Woody, I wonder which weighs more, rider or bike?

Woody, that's awesome! If my Nomad (or KLR) rode like this cow, I would have to go back and get my old Harley!

Nice video Rich. I'm hoping to get some time so I can sit down and edit my stuff but my days have been pretty full. I guess I'll get it to you when I can, hopefully this weekend. Adam is in the IP for STAR this weekend so I will be riding demos Saturday and Sunday.

Woody, that's true! No Harley sound now. I did have a really nice Road Glide, but my wife didn't really like it. I can't complain about the Nomad as it always gets me where I want to go! Hope your knee is healing well so you can get back on your Harley before too long!

Thanks Rick....I'm still trying to figure out the best way to edit video footage. Using free software still that is pretty limited in features. I do have some shots of Randy pulling weeds from the bike, but when scanning the video, I overlooked it. I know the video is cheesy and doesn't flow well, but shooting video and editing are still new to me. Things should get better in the future. I just wanted to post a little something for those that couldn't make. I also need to remember to take my larger memory card so I don't run out of space before we even get to our destination!

Nice job on the video Rich. The site just keeps getting better. Looked like the dust cloud we went thru put a nice coating on the camera lens. Too bad ya didn't get any footage of Randy's bike catching tumbleweeds; it seemed to do a good job of it.

And kept up to date!!! Rich your bike on the video just doesn't have that Harley sound.

I added a short snippet to the Videos page from our Carmella Winery ride. I chopped up about 45 minutes of footage into a short sub 4 min video. Nothing fancy, but it was fun. Great ride.

The biggest difference is that it's up to date.

That's what we pay Rich the BIG bucks for. Maybe we should give him a 10% raise.

Rich has done a good job with the site. It's no wonder the West Coast folks like it, it's sooo very diffrent than what we had before...

We have received kudos on our website from the board of the West Coast Conference. They indicated it embodies what the Blue Knights are all about!

Rick, it starts to get really windy when the bike consistently leans 45 degrees or more... like the last time I rode Hwy 78 through Bruneau to Mtn Home.
